Since 1989 we have been searching to find and grow out vegetable and herb varieties which thrive in the dry, semi-arid climate of Geraldton. All the seeds offered in our catalogue are open-pollinated which means that their seed can be saved and will grow like its parent plant, providing care is taken not to naturally cross- pollinate with another species or variety.
The unique varieties we offer have strong disease resistance and are especially tasty. Their seeds have been selectively saved and passed down through many generations of farmers and gardeners. We call these plants 'Family Heirlooms'.
We hope that you enjoy growing these varieties as much as we have, as they encourage us to learn about seed saving, our heritage, local small scale food growing and the wonderful diversity of plants which sustain us.
As a member of the Seed Savers Network in Australia, if you have any seeds to share or swap, we would love to hear from you. Prices, availability and details are listed in our catalogue. You can also buy our seeds from Planet Ark, Fremantle and Environment House, Maylands, Perth Western Australia.
